The Meaning Behind the Name

Kriti se Kritvie tak

Kriti (कृति) means creation — something crafted with skill, imagination, and tradition. It's not just a product; it's the expression of a maker's identity, passed down through generations and shaped by the land it comes from.

Kritvie represents the journey of a creation — from the hands that made it to the people who'll truly value it. Behind every thread is a person, a skill, a tradition, and an identity.

We built Kritvie to give that story a platform. Not just to sell textiles, but to connect the maker with the admirer — to let every creation speak for itself.

"From a creator's hands to the world."

Why We Started

The Gap We're Closing

Limited Reach

Talented artisans and local creators are often confined to nearby markets and exhibitions — their work rarely reaches buyers beyond their region.

Lost in the Crowd

On most marketplaces, products become commodities. The maker behind the product disappears — no name, no story, no context.

Authenticity is Hard to Find

Customers who want genuine handmade, regional textiles struggle to discover real creators amid mass-produced listings.

What We Are

Creator-First,
Not Brand-First

Kritvie is not another fashion brand manufacturing its own products. It's a platform — a stage for artisans, weavers, and local textile sellers to be discovered directly by customers.

The model isn't "Product → Price → Buy."
It's "Creator → Story → Product → Customer."

"The question isn't just what you're buying — it's whose creation you're supporting."

A Note From the Founder

"I'm building Kritvie because I've seen how much skill, patience, and tradition goes into a single handmade piece — and how often that story never reaches the person who buys it."

This is a solo build, early days, and growing one section at a time. If the idea resonates with you, I'd love to have you along for the journey.

— Lokesh, Founder, Kritvie

It's Not Just What You Buy

Same Product, Different Value

Fast Fashion says

"Cotton saree, ₹2000."

A product. A price. That's it.

Kritvie says

"A hand-block printed saree, created over 5 days by an artisan family preserving a 100-year-old craft tradition."

A creation. A maker. A story worth wearing.

Wear something meaningful, not just something new.
